According to an annual survey conducted between January and February 2024, 46 percent of respondents in Hong Kong reported accessing news via YouTube, which is six percentage points higher than the survey results obtained a year ago. Facebook received a warm reception from the new readers in Hong Kong, with a response rate of 42 percent.
