As of May 2021, young Americans seemed considerably more interested in learning more about investing compared to older generations. Among respondents born between 1997 and 2002 (Gen Z), 79 percent declared to be somewhat or very interested. On the other hand, only 59 percent of people born between 1956 and 1964 (young boomers) were interested in improving their knowledge about investing.
