As of July 2021, around 50.6 percent of customers of the mobile operator TIM surveyed in Brazil said they would watch the Tokyo Olympic Games live, despite the 12-hour difference between that South American country and Japan. Approximately 15 percent of respondents stated that they would watch pre-recorded clips of the Summer Olympics after their original broadcast.
