GDP of health services in Colombia 2015-2020
The real gross domestic product (GDP) of health services in Colombia amounted to nearly 35 billion Colombian pesos in 2020, a decrease of nearly 2.2 percent in comparison to 2019. During the years prior to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the figure showed an increasing trend, going from 29.4 billion pesos in 2015 to 35.7 billion pesos in 2019. It was estimated that current healthcare spending in Colombia could reach a value of more than 26 billion U.S dollars by 2025.
