According to an educational survey conducted between January and February 2021, around 31 percent of interviewed Chinese students planning to study abroad indicated that they intended to return to China immediately after their graduation in the host country. This share increased considerably over recent years. At the same time, the share of students who have a clear concept whether or not to return to China after graduation to start their professional career is growing.
