More than one quarter of large industrial enterprises in Russia used robots for welding purposes as well as for packing and unpacking tasks as of 2021. Another 17 percent of companies employed robots for loading and unloading tasks.

* 50 large industrial enterprises registered on the territory of the Russian Federation were surveyed. Of them, about 30 percent were in the metallurgy and metals sector, 12 percent in the automotive industry, 12 percent in food production, 8 percent in the chemical industry, and the rest in others.
