According to a survey on internet usage behavior of middle-aged and elderly people in China conducted in June 2021, Tencent's flagship communication app Wechat, trumped other frequently used mobile apps among the middle-aged and elderly cohort with a satisfaction score of 8.2. Meituan, the daily life helper, took the second spot with an eight-point score, followed by Baidu and Douyin.
