Tenants in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2020 had a range of reasons as to why they liked to rent. 48 percent of the tenants surveyed liked to rent because renting allowed them not to worry about repairs while a smaller percentage of 19 percent of renters enjoyed the independence they got while renting.
The source included that nearly 2,000 tenants in the Private Rented
Sector (PRS) across the country were surveyed about their experiences of
renting in the generation of this report.
