Share of residential property loans Philippines Q4 2023, by type of housing unit
During the fourth quarter of 2023, an equal share of residential real estate loan (RREL) transactions were used to purchase single detached/attached houses and condominiums in the Philippines. This accounted for 42.6 percent of the total loan transactions across the housing types. In the same period, the majority of RREL transactions were used to acquire new housing units.
