According to a 2020 study, among the leading in-store technologies employed by retail stores, consumers were most interested in trying out virtual reality, with half of those surveyed expressing an interest in this. One out of five consumers have already used this technology as part of their in-store experience. A quarter of respondents were already familiar with retail innovations such geo-location services, however, survey results suggested one third of consumers were not interesting in using such technology at all.
