The French pay channel Canal+ invested 106.2 million euros in films supported by the Centre National du Cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) and financed by TV channels in 2019, which makes it the most active channels in terms of invested volume that year. It is three times what France 2 invested, although still being the second most active channel.
