Frequency of alcohol consumption of individuals 14 and older in Australia 2013-2019
Between 2013 and 2019 in Australia, the percentage of individuals aged 14 and older who reported that they consumed alcohol on a daily basis fell from seven percent to five percent. In this same time period, the percentage of individuals who reported that they were ex-drinkers increased from seven percent to nine percent. This speaks to a rise in responsible drinking behaviors among Australians.
