The traffic congestion level varied a lot in Marseille in 2020. The lowest level had been reached in April 2020, reaching only six percent. It was directly correlated to the first lockdown in France, decided by the French government to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Nevertheless, figures started to increase again during the summer period. A second lighter decrease has been observed in November 2020, during the second lockdown.
