Most Indians do still prefer a mix of online and in-store shopping in 2021. As much as 64 percent of the respondents to the survey conducted by Rakuten Insights, have no ultimate preference for online or in-store shopping. Nevertheless, online shopping is preferred by more than ten percent. The coronavirus pandemic, spreading from March 2020 onwards, is a major reason for the emerging preference of online shopping.
