The retails sales value of confectionery, chocolates, and preserves in China's snack industry was around 192.2 billion yuan in 2021, increasing from about 160 billion yuan in 2016. Estimates show the retail sales value to grow up to 229.3 billion yuan in 2026. The total retails sales value of China's snack industry across all categories is estimated to be around 1.15 trillion yuan in 2026.
