As of January 2021, almost a fifth (19 percent) of seller's agents in the United States thought that staging a home reported no effect on the dollar value of the property. Over half of buyer's agents did think that there was at least a 1 percent increase in the dollar value (52 percent).
In 2020, the average price of a new home in the United States was 389,400 U.S. dollars, the highest it has been since1965.
