In 2020, more than half of the newly launched laptops in India belonged to the above 50,001 Indian rupees price category, a increase in share from the previous year. The overall number of new laptops launched that year was a slightly decrease. As a result, the average price for new laptops increased more than ten percent from 2019 to 2020. The leading laptop brands in Indian market were Asus, HP, Lenovo and Acer.
