In 2018, people aged between 18 and 24 years accounted for nearly one third of Nequi's user base. Young adults between 25 and 34 years old made up nearly 30 percent of the users. Nequi's smallest customer base was adults aged 55 and over at just 8.4 percent. In 2019, Colombia recorded the highest fintech adoption rate in Latin America.
