In 2020, French women employees were more concerned about being discriminated against within their own company than their male colleagues, and more than a quarter of them were afraid of being subjected to discrimination because of their gender. The advertising and communication sector is not spared from this type of discrimination. In 2021, almost half of the women who work or have worked in communication agencies considered that men were advantaged in terms of salary levels and access to positions of responsibility.
