In the second quarter of 2020, due to the coronavirus outbreak, businesses in France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain cut marketing costs. Unsurprisingly, movies, public relations and web application marketing services saw some of the highest declines in requests compared to the first quarter of 2020; requests for event marketing decreased by close to 35 percent at that time. However, in the third quarter of 2020 events experienced a 6.21 percent growth, while PR, graphic design, and content strategy marketing grew by roughly 20 percent.
