Soccer is one of the favorite hobbies of millions of fans across the United Kingdom, but many of the big matches, including those of the Premier League, are on Pay Per View (PPV) television. This means that fans often spend significant amounts of money each month to watch their favorite teams. During a November 2020 survey in the UK, 43 percent of respondents aged 25 to 34 stated that they used PPV to watch soccer matches in the 2020/21 season.
