Share of U.S. shoppers mostly shopping online due to COVID-19 2020, by category
In 2020, some 45 percent of consumers in the United States said they would mostly shop for apparel online in the future due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Close to a third of U.S. consumers intended to primarily buy personal care products online. Shoppers were less open to buying fresh food and non-alcoholic beverages in this manner.
