EU: turnover index for media and publishing companies 2020

In 2020, the turnover of motion picture, video and television program production, sound recording, and music publishing companies in the European Union (EU-27) dropped below an index value of 100. The fall to a value of 70.5 in the second quarter of 2020, and the slight increase to an index value of around 85 in the third and fourth quarter of 2020 indicates the problems and shifts the industry had to face in 2020.
