According to a survey of Malaysian voters, 60 percent of Chinese respondents, 72 percent of Indian respondents, and 66 percent of Malay respondents reported in February 2021 that they intended to vote in the next general election. Planned participation in the next election is down across all three ethnic groups compared to survey results from December 2020.
