In early May of 2020, 36 percent of respondents from Germany reported the number of commuting trips significantly decreased with the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic. The number of respondents with the same opinion has since decreased, with only 25 percent of respondents as reported from the fifth wave survey findings.
