Banking channels used by customers in Kenya 2021-2022
Contactless banking solutions were adopted by most bank customers in Kenya as of 2022. While nearly 70 percent of the survey respondents used mobile banking (compared to 60 percent in 2021), 23 percent conducted operations through the internet or online banking. Roughly 17 percent reported using Automated Machine Tellers (ATMs). Furthermore, the user rate increased in all banking channels.
