Frequency of eating local cuisine in Japan 2023

The majority of Japanese consumers eat local and traditional cuisine at least once a month, according to a survey conducted in November 2023. The largest share of respondents, 18 percent, would eat local and traditional cuisine two to three days per month, whereas 7.5 percent never ate any related dishes.
