In 2020, Germany and Czechia reported the highest percentage growth in revenue of hypermarkets. Compared to the previous year, the two countries registered an increase of respectively 9.9 and eight percent. A slight decrease of minus 2.7 percent in revenue of hypermarkets was recorded in Italy. A higher decrease amounting to minus 5.6 and 6.7 percent has been registered in Poland and Russia.
