In 2021, 68 percent of the teachers at government schools in selected rural areas in India, indicated that curriculum related video sharing would be a desirable feature of an EdTech app. The same share of teachers felt that in-classroom teaching is an important method for teaching primary school children in government schools. Only 21 percent teachers were in favor of recording their own lectures and providing students with access to them on mobile phones.
