In a survey conducted in February 2021 in the United States, 41 percent of respondents said that the risks of reopening schools are greater than the consequences of keeping schools closed during the COVID-19 pandemic . In comparison, 39 percent of respondents found it riskier to keep schools closed than to reopen them.
