In 2020, Italy's new registrations of scooters with a cylinder capacity under 125 cc reached close to 53,000 units. This is a year-on-year increase of just under two percent. By contrast, scooters with a cylinder capacity between 501 and 600 cc experienced a drop in sales of over 50 percent yar-on-year.
