Where are the jobs?
Not surprisingly, most job openings in Denmark are found in the capital region, Copenhagen. In fact, more than 40 percent of all vacant positions are located in the capital region, counting over 24,000 in the last quarter of 2022. The second most jobs were available in the Region Zealand, closely followed by the Central Denmark region.
Trade and transport
The most job openings in Denmark are in the trade and transport industry. There were 20,000 job openings in the trade and transport sector in Denmark in the final quarter of 2022. The second highest number of job openings in Denmark are found in other business services. By comparison, the fewest jobs were in finance, insurance, and real estate, counting below 3,000.
