Opinions on government's most important challenges in Libya 2020
A survey conducted in October 2020 showed that internal stability was deemed Libya's most important challenge by most respondents (30 percent). Moreover, 26 percent of the surveyed population agreed that dealing with foreign interference was among the government's priorities. Libya faced years of conflict, political instability, economic depression, and humanitarian crisis. Despite the rapid spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in 2020, only 12 percent of the Libyans considered the health crisis a crucial challenge for the country.
