According to a study from 2021, social- and emotional skills were considered very important to employees in Norway. However, female workers generally deemed soft skills more important to their work than male workers. For example, 90 percent of female respondents stated that stress management was important to their work, compared to 78 percent of the male respondents. Planning of own work had the smallest difference between men and women.
