Most downloaded dating apps in Poland 2023

In 2023, over 767 thousand users in Poland installed the dating app Badoo, making it the most downloaded app, followed by Tinder. 

Popularity of Badoo in Poland

Badoo is a dating app that was founded in 2006 by Russian entrepreneur Andrey Andreev. The app offers its services in 47 different languages, and it has several features allowing users to meet others. Some of the features include "People Nearby," "Video Chat," and "Encounters”. As of January 2023, Badoo had nearly 1.7 million real users, and its in-app revenue in March 2023 was nearly 33 thousand U.S. dollars, making it second in terms of revenue, just behind Tinder.

Poles and dating apps

On average, three in ten Poles used dating apps on their phones. This made it easier to get in touch with people they had met, and to meet new people. More than half of consumers surveyed in Poland said that unlimited calls and texts had a significant impact on interactions with their partner. On the other hand, 11 percent of people in Poland, believed that dating apps, among other things, could have a negative impact on relationships. In a survey conducted in 2022, one-fifth of people admitted that they happened to use dating apps when they were in a relationship with another person.
