In July 2020, 73 percent of the Brits surveyed thought that digital technology could 'definitely' or 'probably' be used in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, however this figure dropped to 67 percent by December 2020. According to the survey, in July 2020, 42 percent of Brits believed that digital technology is currently making the problems caused by the pandemic 'a lot' or 'a little' better, although this figure also fell to 37 percent by December 2020.
