In France and around the world, green mobility is becoming a pivotal instrument to fight climate change. As a result, municipalities are taking action to implement the corresponding types of infrastructure around the country. In 2019, roadways with a maximum speed limit of 30 kilometers per hour accounted for 66 percent of the different types of roadways developed/adapted to the practice of the bicycle.
Overall, citizens across the country have majorly a negative opinion on their city's efforts to support cycling.
