As of July 2020, 87 percent of new and existing mobile gamers from the United States reported that their weekly gaming activities included playing single player games or by themselves. Additionally, 50 percent of new mobile gamers reported that their gaming activities per week included playing with friends or family online. New mobile gamers are defined as those who didn’t play mobile games before the initial peak of the pandemic, and continued to play at least an hour a week since then.
