According to the Gender Equality Index 2020, good health is not enjoyed equally by all women and men in the EU. Only 50 percent of females with a low education level report having good or very good health (compared with 62 percent of males). For EU citizens with a high education level, around 80 percent of both males and females stated to have good or very good health. Gender gaps are also revealed considering employment rates in the EU.
