Turnover of equity derivatives traded on the Borsa Italiana 2010-2022
In terms of annual turnover, derivative trading in Italy peaked in 2015, with around 1.5 trillion euros of derivatives being traded on the Milan Stock Exchange in that year. By 2022 this figure had fallen to 910.7 billion euros. Equity derivatives relate to securities, in the form of an index and single-name futures and options.
