Peru: opinion on COVID-19 upsurge risk factors 2021, by region
A survey conducted in Peru in January 2021, indicated that residents believe that parties and gatherings among family and friends are the greatest risk factor for a COVID-19 outbreak. In the interior of the country, 48 percent of respondents expressed this opinion, about 17 percentage points higher than in the country's capital city. The second risk factor communicated by Peruvian respondents was not respecting the recommended distance, with 25 percent in Lima and Callao and 16.5 percent in the interior.
