According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2023, around 28.9 percent of respondents aged 16 to 24 years stated that they did not use online travel agencies they had found better prices by booking directly via the official websites of travel-related services. This was the most common reason for respondents up to the age of 34 years. Older age groups instead preferred traditional offline travel agencies.
