According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, the leading type of influencers whose endorsed products were purchased by consumers in Vietnam was an actor or reality TV star among both genders, with 45 percent of female and 44 percent of male respondents saying so. Singer or musician influencers ranked second among the list, as stated by 38 percent of female respondents and 40 percent of male respondents.
