According to a survey on social media influencers conducted by Rakuten Insight in May 2023, approximately 81 percent of female respondents in Vietnam stated that they had purchased an item because it was endorsed by an influencer. Meanwhile, the share of male respondents buying a product due to influencer endorsement was slightly lower, at 76 percent.
