According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online travel agencies in Indonesia conducted in June 2023, 92 percent of the respondents stated that they used a smartphone to purchase or book tickets on online travel agencies. Indonesia has a smartphone penetration rate of around 76 percent, which correlates with the high amount of smartphones used to visit online travel agents.
