Parental controls set up for online activities of French children 2020, by age
Even though the majority of French parents of children aged eight to 17 did not set up parental control measures or other mays to monitor their children's online behavior, for those who did, the most common measure in France in 2020 were parental control systems to monitor the way their children access the Internet. However, these measures declined with the growing age of their children. In general, half of the parents of children of all age groups were in favor of forbidding their children to interact with strangers online, even when they were playing video games.
