According to the 2020 survey, high and middle income earners expressed more positive emotions toward their own work than low income earners in Finland. While roughly 66 percent of high income earners had positive emotions related to their work, the corresponding share of low income earners was nearly 15 percent less. However, high income earners also expressed more negative work-related emotions than other income groups.
The survey data on emotions was analyzed with the NayaDaya Empathy Analytics, based on the model of emotional experiences with 20 emotion choices.
