In 2020, 96 percent of all residential premises in the United Kingdom (UK) had access to superfast fixed broadband. Northern Ireland was the nation with the lowest rate of superfast coverage, with 89 percent of residential premises covered. Northern Ireland was also the nation with the highest rate of poor connection, with 2.3 percent of all residential and commercial premises not being able to get a decent connection.
