In December 2020, a survey carried in the United Kingdom (UK) found that 24 percent of respondents strongly agreed that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe, while a further 34 percent somewhat agreed. Although only 16 percent of respondents strongly believed that it should be compulsory for everyone to receive a vaccination, 32 percent strongly agreed it should be mandatory for anyone travelling in or out of the country.
