The revenue of the Russian online dating service Mamba reached approximately 1.6 billion Russian rubles in 2023, having almost doubled from the previous year. Mamba was one of the most downloaded dating app in Russia, having been installed 2.6 million times in 2023.

Mamba, headquartered in Moscow, started operating in 2003. It is owned by an investment holding Finam, an internet company VK, and Cyprus-based Haslop Company Limited. The platform is available as a desktop website and a mobile app. It uses a freemium monetization model, meaning that its basic version is available for free, and additional features can be used by paying subscribers. As of February 2022, the company reported its share of paying users at seven percent. The in-app revenue of Mamba was close to 1.9 million U.S. dollars in Russia in 2023, ranking third in the dating app category.

Over the period from September 2021 to September 2022, Mamba recorded around 7.2 million average visits per month, which was one of the highest traffic figures of dating websites available in the country. The largest share of Mamba’s visitors was aged 35 to 44 years, while the second-leading age group was between 25 and 34 years of age. Male users outnumbered female users, accounting for 60 percent of the total audience.
